PIE&G is currently experiencing power outages affecting about 1,127 services. The outages were caused by strong gusty winds blowing snow-laden trees onto onto lines. Most of the outages are affecting services in Presque Isle and Cheboygan counties. PIE&G’s line crews are working to restore power as safely and quickly as possible, with additional assistance from Kent Power and Wolverine Power crews.
