Fiber Internet is Coming

The schedule below is intended to provide an outline for the fiber build for the next several years based on the most current assessment of our project. The sequence of the build phases was driven by two primary factors: proximity to PIE&G’s headquarters and the nature of our design. The construction is estimated to take about a year for the completion of each phase. Pre-registration will be available later this summer when we launch our new fiber website.

Discover the 7 Steps of Building a Fiber-to-the-home Network

This series of construction steps will be repeated for every feeder associated with each substation in each of the four phases. The time each step takes is dependent on a number of variables including length of the circuit, terrain and soils, weather, and other external factors. Time frames are estimates only.
