Urge President Trump to Approve Full Disaster Relief for Northern Michigan
The state of Michigan is appealing to President Trump for additional federal disaster aid and assistance, which would help impacted individuals and communities recover from the ice storm faster.
Electric cooperatives in Michigan worked incredibly hard to restore critical infrastructure, but PIE&G costs alone will total $150 million. These costs include:
- 2,800 damaged poles
- 900 transformers
- 3,800 miles of line
- 409 crews and more than 400,000 man-hours
As a not-for-profit, member-owned utility, we need additional disaster relief funds from FEMA to help recoup these critical repairs.
We need YOUR help! Click here to urge President Trump to approve this aid to support needed permanent repairs to our critical infrastructure.
Sign the petition to President Trump NOW. We have a limited window of time to encourage President Trump to approve this essential aid for Michigan.
