Community Donation Program – Storm Relief Request Guidelines

Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op

We recognize the critical role that local organizations play in supporting our communities during emergency events such as the recent ice storm. To aid in recovery efforts, Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op (PIE&G) is offering community donation support of up to $1,000 per organization for storm-related relief activities.

Application Requirements:

To be considered for funding, please include the following in your submission:

  1. One-Page Narrative
    Provide a written summary (one page maximum) describing your organization’s response during the recent ice storm. Include:

    • What actions were taken
    • Who was assisted
    • Outcomes of your efforts
  2. Documentation of Expenses
    Submit documentation that verifies the dollar amount spent during the storm. Acceptable forms of documentation include:

    • Receipts
    • Invoices
    • Itemized expense reports
  3. Requested Donation Amount
    Clearly state the amount you are requesting from PIE&G (up to $1,000).
  4. List of Counties Served
    Provide a list of the counties your organization supports or assisted during the storm.
