Crews are making steady progress even though the winds ramped up again this morning. We’ve restored about 3,000 services so far, but there are still around 3,000 out. We brought in additional mutual aid crews who are assisting PIE&G. Line crews and office personnel plan to work all day and night again today, but we anticipate that for some areas that were hardest hit, repairs will extend into tomorrow.
Also note that winds will increase towards evening. They are forecasted to calm down somewhat overnight, but will persist in the 15-25 mph range through tomorrow. As a result, we could experience additional new outages. Please make preparations for another day without power.
Check the status of outages in our “Outage Center” by County or Township, located at the top right of our home page . The map is updated about every 15 minutes.

Thanks to everyone for their patience and understanding. We are working diligently to get as many services restored as safely and quickly as possible.
